Welcome to the School of Cosmetology Fashion & Interior Design (SCFID). Cosmetology is the study of beauty treatments for the hair, skin and nails. It includes skills like hairstyling, makeup artistry, skincare and nail care. Cosmetologists are trained professionals who help clients with their appearance to boost self esteem, and work in various roles such as hair stylists, nail technicians, makeup artists and skin care consultants. Fashion & design is the art of applying design, aesthetics and construction to clothing and accessories, creating wearable art that is influenced by culture and trends. It encompasses ideation, sketching and production. Interior Design is the art and science of enhancing the interior of a building to create a healthier, more beautiful and functional environment for people using the space. It involves planning and designing spaces by layout, colour, lighting and materials. The SCFID has three departments namely Hair Dressing & Beauty Therapy; Fashion & Design, and Interior Design.
